·     Making it easy for the foreign students to apply for and gain Canadian nationality – the proposals include an overhaul of CEC, Canada Experience Class category;

·         Re-instating the Canadian nationality residency credits for foreign students in the country;

·     Overriding the two year waiting tenure on Canadian permanent resident status for the spouses of nominated applicants;

·      Reintroducing of maximum age of dependants from 19 years to 22 years, thus making is easier for the applicants to bring their older children to the country.
